Hello

I'm Iqra

I've always liked both designing and coding. There's something really satisfying about seeing a design I made in Figma turn into something I can actually click around in.

During my internships, I worked on website design, WordPress development, testing and maintenance. I also got to work directly with clients, which taught me a lot about building something for someone other than myself.

Frontend is what I enjoy most right now, but I want to get better at the backend too. My goal is to become a full-stack developer who understands both the design and the code behind an application.

In my free time, I'm usually working on a random project, trying something new or exploring open-source code. And when I'm not in a reading slump, I love fiction books with a good plot twist. I always try to guess the ending. Sometimes I'm even right.

Where I've worked

Unique Design

2024 – 2025

Web Designer & Developer Intern

At Unique Design I designed websites in Figma and built them as custom WordPress themes with PHP and ACF. I took projects from the first design to launch, made sure they worked on every screen, and set them up so clients could update their own content.

Bewise Solutions

2022 – 2023

Web Developer Intern

At Bewise I built and maintained WordPress websites with Elementor, tested sites and fixed issues, and worked on designs. I also joined client meetings and talked to clients directly about the changes they needed.

SOVOT

2020 – 2021

IT Support Intern

I did IT support for SOVOT during my internship at Bewise Solutions: I answered support questions, helped users with technical issues and worked with colleagues to find solutions.

Frontend developer who likes design

I design and build things
for the web.

Hi, I'm Iqra, a second-year ICT student at Fontys in Tilburg. I enjoy turning designs into working websites and applications. Frontend is my favorite part, but I'm getting more into backend development too.
