VECOZO

VECOZO is a Dutch organization that helps healthcare professionals share information securely. For a school assignment, our team of six built an application for multidisciplinary consultations (MDOs), where specialists from different fields discuss patient cases.

We had 12 weeks to deliver a working prototype that makes it easier to plan consultations and manage patient information in one place.

I worked on both design and development. I designed the whole interface in Figma, including layouts, visual style and reusable components, and built core features in C# connected to the application's logic and data.

I also helped teammates build and refine other parts of the application.

Healthcare professionals need to work efficiently, so I focused on clear navigation, patient information that is easy to find and fewer steps for common tasks.

The app is built with C# and MSSQL in a layered architecture that separates presentation, business logic and data access. We worked in sprints with two project days a week and presented to VECOZO every four weeks. Their feedback decided what we improved next.

A working prototype that brings patient management, consultation planning and MDO discussions into one application.

I became more confident with C#, learned how to structure an application in layers and got to work with a real client. My biggest takeaway: balance design and development, and keep the people who use the software at the center.
